DESCRIPTION:
Allison
T63-A700
(250-C18) Gas Turbine Engine,
317 hp,
6000 rpm at power output shaft.
Includes fuel control,
governor, fuel pump, ignition exciter, bleed valve, starter. Engine
weighs about 138 lbs. and has many non-aviation applications as
it is. For aviation use the turbine wheels need to be replaced
(estimated cost: about $4.5K).
Engine came from a Bell OH-58 helicopter. It was used in an
Exxon oil research program, then sent to Keystone Turbines in
2013 where it was disassembled, inspected, repaired, reassembled
and tested. Engine has about 51 hours operation since those
repairs. There are no logbooks available. Clean; good
condition; stored indoors. Located
in the state of Idaho (U.S.). Ready to pickup or ship.
